Sony Announces A7RIII

Sony today announced its latest full-frame camera – the A7rIII. It has the same amazing sensor from Sony A7rII, but packs multiple new features that many photographers and videographers will enjoy. Although it’s not revolutionary like the model released in 2015, it is definitely a step in the right direction.

  • 10fps shooting
  • 5 axis in-body image stabilization (5.5 stops)
  • Joystick
  • 15 stops of dynamic range
  • Better autofocus and faster Eye AF
  • Eye AF operates at double the speed
  • Bionz X processor
  • Pixel shift multi shooting (captures more color)
  • Contrast AF points: 425
  • Touchscreen
  • 120p Full HD video
  • USB 3.1
  • Two card slots (one UHS-II slot)
  • 3.69 million dot OLED tru-finder
  • Better battery life (up to 2.2x)

Sony A7rIII will start shipping at the end of November with the price tag of $3,199.99.
