Olympus unveiled its new flagship mirrorless 4/3 camera during Photokina and earlier today the company announced that it will be released in December. The price for Olympus OM-D E-M1 Mark II will be $1,999 in the United States and you can already preorder it via Amazon.
As you may be aware, the new camera from Olympus has a pretty impressive list of features — both for photographers and videographers. The flagship camera has a 20MP sensor and boasts high speed autofocus with 121 cross-type points. Most people who’ve had hands-on time with Olympus OM-D E-M1 Mark II agree that it features the best in-body image stabilization out of any mirrorless cameras on the market right now. This is also the first Olympus camera to feature 4K video recording.
